What is Babu Pinoy Bridge Read PH?
+Babu Pinoy Bridge Read PH is a free, independent study and reading intervention tool for Filipino learners in Grades 4–12. It helps learners understand what they read through meaning-focused activities.
Who can use this?
+Anyone can use the free version: learners, families, educators, schools, districts, NGOs, and community groups. Use is entirely voluntary. No account or login is required.
Is this free?
+Yes. A free version is available. These materials are NOT FOR SALE. If someone is selling them, please report it.
Can this web-based app be used offline?
+Yes, but only for content that has already been loaded. Your browser caches pages you visit, allowing offline access to those pages. However, you cannot load new content without internet.
What happens if I clear my browser history?
+All cached content and saved progress will be removed. You will need internet access again to reload the app. Downloaded PDFs and printed materials are NOT affected.
Are PDFs fully offline?
+Yes. Once downloaded, PDFs work offline until you delete them. They are the most reliable option for areas with limited internet.
Can I photocopy these materials?
+Yes. You may print, photocopy, and distribute these materials for educational purposes. They are designed for black-and-white printing with low ink usage.
What languages are supported?
+English is always shown first. One chosen support language appears beneath: Tagalog, Waray, Bisaya (Cebuano), Chavacano, or Bicol. The support language is based on your selection.
How does text-to-speech work?
+Text-to-speech is available for English text. When English text is displayed, a "Listen" button appears beside it. Tap to hear the text read aloud. Support language text is displayed for reading but does not have audio.
Does this replace school or teachers?
+No. This is a supplementary tool, not a replacement for formal education. It provides reading comprehension support alongside—not instead of—classroom instruction.
